Microsoft 365 Online Apps & Teams Admin Center Access Issues

On April 20, 2023, at approximately 7:56 AM ET, Microsoft tweeted via their account @MSFT365status that they were investigating an issue accessing Microsoft 365 online apps and Microsoft Teams Admin Center. 

For system administrators and IT professionals who have access to the Microsoft Admin Center, the service incident number to reference was OO544150.

 

Feedback and responses from the Twitter community were immediate, many voicing complaints and frustration as they unable to access their email and other communications. Frustration also lingered as there was an Admin Center issue a little over a month ago. Many users shared alternative solution by access email via Outlook.office365.com/mail/ or using different devices. 

 

At 8:24 AM ET, approximately 30 minutes from their first message, Microsoft tweeted a second message updating users that they moved communications to MO544165 to target all impacted customers

 

With this update, the community provided more alternative solutions:

 

Over the course of the day, Microsoft provided updates until the problem was resolved.
