Approximately 2 hours after their first message, Microsoft tweeted a second and final message announcing that the issue had been mitigated. Responses on Twitter from the community were few and gave no indication that the service incident extended beyond the APAC region.
And although there were no additional tweets from Microsoft as to this service incident MO521925, it was only several hours later the very same day that Microsoft sent out a new communication via @MSFT365status indicating yet another service incident was unfolding, one that involved user access (globally) for Exchange Online mailboxes.
