Inside Sales Representative

We are a fast-growth software company looking for a savvy and technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team! Compensation:                 Total first year at plan:              $80,000 OTE 


Core Job Roles

  1. Own the SMB portion of our client portfolio, bringing them from interest to customer. This includes the full sales cycle. You will be assisted by the Director of Marketing and Presales Team.
  2. Generate interest from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), bringing them to a lead, opportunity and ultimately a won customer.
  3. Support the Enterprise Sales Team by responding to all inbound leads, qualifying and distributing accordingly. You will also be responsible for ensuring those leads receive a timely response from the Enterprise Team. Your goal is to deliver information to inbound leads as fast and effectively as possible, leveraging the greater Sales and Marketing teams.

Key Job Functions:

  • Directly contribute to revenue
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Convert marketing--qualified leads to sales-qualified leads
  • Conduct daily & weekly Sales Team reporting
  • Lead routing & coordination

The role breakdown is as follows:

  • 40% - Lead qualification
  • 30% - Direct selling
  • 30% - Support functions

Key Criteria/Requirements

  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Information Technology industry
  • Experience with full sales lifecycle
  • Effective oral & written communicator
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience producing a high output of sales activities (calls, emails, online appointments)
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple job functions
  • Ability to keep people and teams working together with effective communication

Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills – Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and handle time efficiently. Ability to manage up when necessary. Desire to have a hand in multiple facets of the business. Must demonstrate ability to be detail oriented and organized in previous job roles.

Digitally Savvy – Ability to navigate and learn multiple IT systems (HubSpot, CRM, Excel, etc). Proven ability to work fast with PCs and learn new skills easily.

Liaison – This person must be a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Support and the management team. Should show the ability to fit right in and jive well with all personalities while getting things done. Should be assertive and a team player looking out for the best interest of the company at large.

Willing to Wear Multiple Hats – Understands and is excited about being involved with numerous aspects of the sales and marketing departments. This person must be a full-time sales rep while also taking on a full-time coordinator/support role. He or she must show a wide range of abilities and approach the position as more than a sales/individual contributor role. This person should ideally show experience wearing multiple hats that cross over department lines.

Core Job Roles
  • Provide a timely resolution to support requests received from prospects, existing customers, and fellow ENow team members. Your goal is to deliver these resolutions as quickly and effectively as possible by leveraging existing documentation, knowledge base articles, product knowledge, and our engineering escalation process.
  • Communicate both in writing and orally in a professional and businesslike manner to prospects, existing customers, and fellow ENow team members using Outlook, Skype for Business, and other collaboration tools.
  • Review and document incoming communication from prospects, existing customers, and fellow ENow team members using Microsoft CRM.

Key Job Functions:
  • Acquire an understanding of ENow’s core product and become certified passing LMS test within 60 days.
  • Open cases and deliver initial responses to support requests in 4 hours or less during business hours.
  • Discover and provide a solution to your cases within 2 business days or escalate the case.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and configurations cases in 2 hour or less.
  • Acquire MCSA 2012 certification within 1 year.
  • Escalate 25% or less of cases that you have opened or have been assigned.

The role breakdown is as follows:

  • 30% - Support case responses via email
  • 40% - Direct interaction with prospects, customers and ENow team members via Skype for Business
  • 30% - Support case documentation and management

Key Criteria/Requirements
  • 1+ years of technical support experience
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Windows Server 2008 or higher
  • Experience with problem solving
  • Effective oral & written communicator
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience producing a high output of support activities (calls, emails, online appointments, research)
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple support requests
  • Ability to keep pushing open cases to resolution
